Vanessa Wolf, DVM
Dr. Vanessa Wolf was born in Framingham, Massachusetts and raised in Hickory, North Carolina. As a child she was involved in intramural sports including soccer and basketball. The rest of her middle school and high school extracurricular activities included drawing, painting and photography. She attended St Stephen's High School in Hickory, NC and North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC for both undergraduate and veterinary school. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science and minors in Art & Design and Nutrition. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University. She has also traveled to China to learn acupuncture in horses and Haiti to manage a goat farm during kidding season.
She has 5 pets of her own; a shy but cuddly cat named Gus, 2 lazy whippets named Henry and Iris, a big fluffy orange cat named Cheddar and another shy but sweet cat named Peach. In her free time she enjoys gardening, baking, taking naps with her whippets, hiking, photography, drawing and traveling.
